Our Team:

Director - Michael Van Itallie 

Michael has over 18 years of experience in civil engineering design and construction.  Originally from New York State in the US, Michael completed his Civil Engineering degree at the University of New York in Buffalo.  Following an overseas Army deployment in 2004-2005, Michael immigrated to Australia and started work at the Brisbane consultancy Borhhorst and Ward for 4 years.  He transitioned to ADG Engineers in 2011, gaining experience in delivering and managing large complex projects. Michael's passion to provide direct support to his clients drove him to start a new business in 2023 where he was the direct conduit to project support, design decisions, and ultimately the success of his client's projects.

Capabilities

• Keen understanding of the development process within local government  and service authorities to allow timely progress of development approvals

• Civil Engineering design and documentation with 3D object modeling in Civil 3D 

• A challenging sense of design options to allow for a better understanding of what the actual lowest cost design options are available for constrained project sites

• Unitywater accredited Major Certifier and Construction Certifier to provide support to Unitywater connection applications

• Stormwater management to address the best quality and quantity treatment options for development sites

• Construction experience to enable supportive and informative site inspections and support to contractors, consultants, authorities,  and developers.
